In partnership with the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) and with support from the CDC Foundation, we have created a virtual reality application to improve the COVID-19 vaccination rates among children. The VR application is experienced using an Oculus Quest 2 headset and aims to reduce anxiety and stress associated with an injection for children receiving the vaccine. This novel technology is very much in its early days and Ad Astra Media is excited to embark on this journey and explore the use of VR applications in healthcare, especially among the pediatric population.
