Bringing The Magic Of
S. T. E. A. M
To Media

"The Importance of Role Modeling for the STEAM Workforce"
With this mission, he is working on a book about the importance of role models.
"All of us have been mentored throughout life on how to live and act and have had role models that have allowed us to reach the place we are in life”, says Dr. Morey.
He feels strongly that role models and leaders are the key to connecting S.T.E.A.M. opportunities to our future generations.
He has been accumulating influential people in S.T.E.A.M. (such as Vint Cerf, David Sinclair, Amy Webb, and Victoria Alonso Perez) and sharing their stories alongside those of History (Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein, Jeff Bezos and more).
In addition to sharing their stories and their work, Dr. Morey will highlight who their role models were and how their influences guided our leaders to where they are today.

The goals for this book are to provide our younger generations with role models in S.T.E.A.M. industries, especially ones from a minority or opposite gender. Dr. Morey’s hope is that this will excel in underprivileged and underrepresented communities to encourage the pursuit of these careers, starting a ripple effect in their community for sustainable jobs, better healthcare, increased income, and more.

The Eisenhower Foundation has supported this endeavor by granting Dr. Morey a Fellowship which will focus on the creation of STEM/STEAM edutainment content tailored for both children and adults to inspire existing and future generations about the magic that is science. He will produce this content in both Spanish and English to promote the work in North and South America. He will create a movement by combining STEM and entertainment to make science as exciting as sports, music and social media influencers. The Eisenhower Foundation will be sending Dr. Morey to Beijing China to meet with technology leaders from Wang Yu (Director of China’s Center for STEM Education), Liu Yang (first Chinese woman in Space), Jack Ma (founder of e-commerce multinational conglomerate Alibaba Group), Wang Jianlin (head of China’s Dalian Wanda Group), Zhang Zhao (founder of LeVision Entertainment), Robin Li (with Baidu Nuomi Pictures) and Ma Huateng (leader of Tencent).
