STEAM Education is the Future
International Baccalaureate curriculum has been teaming up with STEAM educators to help prepare today's students for a future that will have a sharp increase in STEM jobs. Younger and younger children are familiar with technology that older generations never could have imagined would exist today, and our education system is working to keep up! Students benefit from the hands on learning that STEM and STEAM education provides. Some schools are encouraging high school seniors to have a senior project in STEM, given them a great experience and allowing young students the autonomy to create an experiment and do their own research.
