VR Environment Conceptualization

Conceptualizing the world of Conectado involved a multidimensional approach that combined creativity, technical considerations, and user experience. The process started with brainstorming and visualizing the immersive layout; taking inspiration from real-world locations, fantastical realms and futuristic landscapes. Attention was given to the scale, aesthetics, and interactive elements that bring the environment to life. Simultaneously, technical aspects such as rendering capabilities, performance optimization, and user interface design were taken into account to ensure a seamless and enjoyable VR experience. The ultimate goal was to create a virtual environment that transports users to an engaging world of opportunities, where they can explore and interact in a unique and unforgettable experience.

Characters & Avatars

Our goal with the avatars within Conectado is to provide a real-world range of cultures, ethnicities, body types, and identities, ensuring that players from all backgrounds can identify and connect with their virtual counterparts. We are meticulously developing these virtual entities and opening the possibilities of being controlled by real players, non-playable characters, or a fusion of both. Our goal is to offer players an array of creative customization options while ensuring NPCs possess unique traits, thereby fostering immersive experiences and captivating interactions within the virtual realm.

Audio Design

By creating background music, ambient sounds, and sound effects that seamlessly match the environment and events, users can be fully immersed in this virtual world. Implementing spatial audio adds an extra layer of realism, allowing users to perceive the direction and distance of sound sources.

Performance & Optimization

Through careful optimization of assets, textures, and scripts, the VR experience of Conectado maintains a consistent frame rate and minimizes latency. Every element of the VR environment is thoughtfully designed to run smoothly, allowing users to immerse themselves in a seamless and captivating virtual experience while networking with others.
